Day by day

Sample Itinerary

Day 1

Bishkek → Kyzart/Kuiruchuk → Shilbily Pasture

7:00AM - 8:00 AM: Depart from your hostel in Bishkek, and meet your guide.
Morning: Begin drive to Kuiruchuk (~4-5 hours)
Noon: Lunch near Kuiruchuk
Afternoon: Horseback trek to Shilbily Pasture (~5 hours)
Later evening: Arrival at yurt stays, dinner, and rest

Day 2

Shilbily → Song-Kul Lake

8:00 AM: Traditional Breakfast
9:00 AM: Horseback trek to Song-Kul Lake (~5 hours)
On arrival: Traditional Lunch on arrival at the lake
Afternoon: Free time to explore the lake and surroundings
Evening: Overnight in yurts with a traditional dinner

Day 3

Song-Kul → Kyzart → Bokonbaevo / Issyk-Kul

Morning at Song-Kul with breakfast
Horseback return to Kyzart (~6 hours)
Lunch on arrival to Kyzart
Afternoon: Transfer by car to Issyk-Kul / Bokonbaevo
Evening: Guesthouse stay, dinner and rest

Day 4

Bokonbaevo → Skazka Canyon → Bishkek

Morning: Breakfast + Eagle Hunting Show in Bokonbaevo
Noon: Lunch + visit to Skazka Canyon
Late Afternoon: Drive to Bishkek

Helmets are not customary in Kyrgyzstan. There is a helmet rental ($5 USD per day per person, if desired)
